Hello! This is Saidur Rahman. I am a Senior Data Scientist (Research and Development) at Desjardins, Canada where I am a member of the Research and Innovation team in the Center of Excellence in Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
I received my PhD in Software Engineering from University of Saskatchewan in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Chanchal Roy. I am passionate about Data Science, Machine Learning, Code Smells, Software Engineering for Machine Learning (SE4ML), and Mining Software Repositories.
I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at SWAT Lab, Polytechnique Montreal where I was advised by Prof. Foutse Khomh, and was co-supervised partly by Prof. Yann-Gaël Guéhéneuc. As a Postdoctoral Research Intern at SAP Labs, Montreal, I worked on collaborative research projects focused on machine learning based solutions for data error detection and correction, time-series modeling, and automated feature engineering.
